    My scanner is not auto communicating with my 2004 GMC truck also had issue with an 01 GMC and a 06 ford f 150

    Hi,what scanner do you have ? Normally you should be able to read the 2004 gmc
    truck and the 2006 ford. The2001 could be tricky you could try an older snap on
    scanner.
